Kim P.
Short Torso

My name is Kim and I'm relatively new to the T-Tapp program. I was asked to share my story regarding my results. I'm 45 years old, married and mother of three, (including a set of twins). I am reasonably active, having just participated in the Peachtree Road Race this summer. I've tried just about every type of workout but became bored rather quickly. I did find T-Tapp online a few years ago and researched it. While it sounded good, I never got around to trying it. Guess I was disillusioned by the thought of purchasing another product that didn't live up to its hype.

Once I passed my fortieth birthday, I became more concerned about health and fitness. That's probably why I continued to search for a program that provided results and stimulated my brain as well. Last year, I was diagnosed with Meniere's disease. It is a condition that affects the inner ear; damaging the auditory nerve (hearing) and vestibular system (balance).

While shopping at my favorite bookstore, I saw the T-Tapp book prominently displayed. This time I couldn't ignore Teresa's smiling face. Inside the book I found a wealth of information, in particular the neuro-kinetic aspects of the workout and a thorough explanation of each exercise. Included in the book was a bonus DVD, plus a discount coupon for future purchases! That was enough incentive for me. I purchased the book immediately and read it cover to cover. Part of my quest for fitness is to create the healthiest body possible in which to reside. Since my disease affects my balance, anything I can do to strengthen my core muscles and improve my balance is a plus. Did vanity play a part? Of course! I want those long, lean T-Tapp muscles!

In my first month of T-Tapping, I lost 26.25 inches. I'm excited to find a program that worked so quickly and efficiently to reshape my body. It seems that once women hit forty and start to gain weight, many panic and embark on a masochistic and difficult to maintain exercise program. What happens? Mixed results accompanied by burnout and injuries. My experience with T-Tapp has been just the opposite. Currently, I wear a size 12 with a goal of size 8. I'm 5'10'' tall. This is a completely attainable goal. I'm confident I will achieve it and regain my health and confidence in the process. In the meantime, the added energy, positive benefits and visible results of this program will continue motivate me…

T-Tapp journey - Part II

That was nearly a year ago. A lot has happened; a death in the family, illnesses, unemployment, possible relocation, a new job, health issues, and a weight gain of 40 unwanted pounds. My body did not react well to the stress and I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and adrenal fatigue. These health challenges made it difficult to exercise consistently. There were many days when I ruled my household from the couch. The constant element in my life, aside from the love and support of my family, has been T-Tapp. Although I wasn't able to control the events that were happening in my life, I could take control of my workouts. Each "Yes You Can!" became my motivation and the phrase "You Did It!" became my reward. I began to crave those words, along with the workouts and the blissful feeling that followed. As my health improved, so did the quantity and quality of my workouts.

Thankfully, life has calmed down considerably. I'm grateful for the addition of T-Tapp in my life. Even though fatigue is a daily challenge, I'm able to follow an exercise program. Despite what the mirror may reflect, I feel tall, strong, and powerful. For lack of a better word: CENTERED. I used to avoid mirrors because I didn't recognize myself. The reflection in the mirror didn't match with the way I felt inside. It was distressing to see how much my appearance had deteriorated. What was worse was the expression in friend's faces when they saw me. That's old news. Today, I'm delighted to say that changes are occurring, firming, tightening and lifting. I have increased energy, better posture and a sense of wellbeing. Clothes fit better. More exciting is that the changes are becoming apparent to others. The biggest improvement has been in my abdominals; a whopping 5-inch loss of stubborn, obnoxious, perma-flab in 60 days.

As part of the contest, I'm supposed to explain why I deserve to win. I'm not comfortable making those kind of statements. There are many committed T-Tapp contestants who are just as deserving. What I can say is that I've worked very hard and consistently. Winning the contest would be a milestone on a remarkable journey. I have read about the Safety Harbor event and would love to experience it first hand. The thought of this has motivated me to push myself further than I could have ever imagined. As a result there have been improvements in my form and stamina. From the beginning of the challenge, I've competed against myself, not the other contestants. In my mind, I've already won after competing with my "before" self. If I am selected, I would strive to make the most of this extraordinary opportunity.

At the conclusion of this contest, I have lost 33 inches. I don't know where they went, nor do I want them back. Gratitude doesn't begin to express how I feel about T-Tapp. Thank you for the opportunity to share my story.
