60 Day Challenge - 2007
Grand Prize Winner
Average to Lose Category

Theresa D.

It’s been several years since I’ve bought the T-Tapp system, but developing a good habit of doing the tapes was another story for me. I was the usual person that was motivated right after a clinic, but then the urge to T-Tapp would wane for me.

Well, I was bound and determined to develop some consistency with T-Tapp, and what better opportunity than a 60-Day Challenge. I can honestly say that I have developed some nice habits that I do want to continue with.

I have been hounded with a neck injury from a climbing fall years ago, and have developed some bone spurs in the cervical area, which have caused ruptured discs over the years. Given the degenerative state, the neurologist suspected that I would be back in his office and “asking” for surgery to relieve some of the discomfort in my arm…but that has been 5 years since that discussion.

I knew enough that when flare-ups would occur…it was T-Tapp to the rescue. I’m happy to say further, that after this 60-Day Challenge, things have improved even more, and I’m sure it has to do with my postural changes. I have not had the normal nerve pain running down my arm because of the nerve compression, and I KNOW it’s from using my muscles correctly for support.

I’m also thrilled to say, that after tweaking my form during this 60-Day Challenge, I feel muscles in such a different way. Teresa’s driving in the terms of neuro-kinetic awareness, full fiber activation, etc. have finally made sense to me and I “get it”. I can actually feel specific muscles that I’m working during a move….something that has taken a bit of working with for me.

During this time, I primarily stuck with Basic Work Out Plus, Min-Max 1 and walking. My objective was to tweak my form and focus more, rather than zone out and just repeat a move I’ve been doing for a while…compromising effectiveness of the particular exercise.

I had to push through the frustration of wanting more inch loss, but what I gained through awareness during this time has been incredible. My overall inch loss was 12.25 inches - which I really am happy with, as my clothes definitely fit much more comfortably. This contest has definitely helped to spur me on… knowing I can complete something that I start. It’s the kick that I needed for some life-long habits!

If I can do it - so can you!
