My girlfriend got me interested in T-Tapp about 3 years ago. I just dabbled in it and never really went very far. It stayed in the back of my mind though. When my husband and I moved from the house our girls were raised in, I did not want to continue going to the gym. I started doing T-Tapp. He did it with me for the first few months and he liked it. It helped his back. We were doing the 15 minute workout. I remember the first week we started, we were kinda tired and it was only 15 minutes. Well, I decided to do the boot camp. He did not commit to that. I did that last November with the 15 minutes and after the 14 days, I was pleasantly surprised. No cutting back on food. I tried a pair of pants on that I had worn before and they were a bit looser. I did continue this routine, once a week with the longer T-Tapp routine and once or twice the 15 minutes. When I saw the email about the contest, it got me thinking. I am not really much for contests, but I have a strong desire to meet with Teresa and learn more about this exercise routine that has become part of my life. I just never see a seminar close to where I live. I decided to go for it on April 11. I asked my husband to take my pictures and do my measurements, bad hair and all. Then I kinda chickened out. On the very last day that we were allowed to send in, I did it. I pressed the send button and kept doing T-Tapp. My plan was to try for every day but not to worry if I missed a day. Good plan, until that very first week I ended up in the hospital. I had a strange heart problem. I am fine now, but for a time they asked me not to exercise. Well, I did not include T-Tapp in that and I kept it up except for a few days. After this all settled down, I ordered the next tape, T-Tapp to Tempo. I started this one half way through the challenge. Holy cow. Did I ever feel it. My legs were tired. I am not sure I was lovin Teresa that first 2 weeks. I might have called her a few names. I kept it going though and now I just love that tape. I will keep going beyond the contest because I know I am getting results. I thought about being in a contest and I said to myself, even if I do not get to go to Florida, I am still winning. This is the first time in my life that I am sticking to a home routine and it really does work. The only down side is buying new clothes, ahhh.
All through the two months I really never thought about losing, I just focused on form and doing the workout. I was pretty faithful and probably made the workout about 5 days a week. I did not always get the full time in but I did something. I am not sure what I lost, I did not look very close at that. I know that pants that I could not fit into last spring are now too big for me.
Teresa has become part of my life. I am turning 51 this year and will age gracefully with her help. I would love to win this contest. I have 4 girls watching me (Sarah, my oldest 25, Jessica, Nicole, and Erin, triplets age 20) and I strive to be a role model for them. I don’t think they ever saw their mother in a two piece bathing suit but what the heck. We don’t ever have to starve ourselves but we do have to take care of ourselves. We are the only one that can. I know that as I continue on the road of T-Tapp, I will get stronger, feel good, like how I look and enjoy myself.
Thank you Teresa for this. The trip to Florida will be a fantastic bonus on top of this and I would be absolutely thrilled. See you soon.
