By the time the 2008 60-Day Challenge rolled around, I had lost 9 sizes in 14 months of T-Tapping, going from a size 22W to mostly size 10's and a few 8's as a 5'11" Combination body type. My goal for the Challenge was to wear a consistent size 8 and amazingly, I met that goal by the 30-day mark. In fact, the last week of the contest I bought my first size 4/6 tank top because the 8/10 was too big! I lost 12" during the contest, bringing the grand total inch loss to an incredible 119"!

As a mother of twelve children, ages 2-25, I spent many years in the rocking chair either pregnant or nursing a baby. Occasionally I tried walking as exercise but that never lasted long. Over the years I slowly gained more and more weight until I topped out at 258 pounds. After I began T-Tapping it took me a couple of months to admit that I was wearing a size 22W. It was only after I realized I couldn't meet my goal for my son's wedding that I admitted that I'd started out bigger than I originally thought. I didn't let that realization stop me, however--I stuck with the program and the sizes continued to melt away.

I attribute my success with T-Tapp to this program's absolute efficiency and genius, plus consistency in doing the workouts, NOT to overdoing it with longer and harder workouts. In looking back over my records of the first year, it took me 2 months to work up to doing a whole Beginner/Rehab. For several months I did B/R about twice a week, but by far my most common workouts were the Basic Workout Plus or MORE or Ladybug BWO+. A busy schedule during the holidays and then an unusual number of winter illnesses for me and my family led to doing only short workouts 3 times per week until spring, but I continued to lose a size about every 6 weeks

By the time the contest began I was ready for some new motivation and goal-setting. I was fortunate to be able to take T-Tapp Trainer Michelle Barbuto's online class, T-Tapp YOU Super Slow, during the Challenge. Michelle helped me with a workout schedule that was tailored to my busy life and that targeted my areas of concern. It consisted of varied workouts (including BWO+, MORE, HTF, Tempo Arms, Ladybug, B/R, and the Instructionals) and a day or two off every week, plus weekly "challenges" like OIP/HF or Diva Derriere before bedtime, or Hoe Downs after meals. I especially liked doing TappCore "Shoulders" and "Triceps Curls" moves as a challenge.

Except for an occasional once-a-week long workout like Beginner/Rehab or Ladybug Standing, I worked out for 15-30 minutes 5-6 days per week. That was doable even during a week-long vacation, staging my son's homeschool high school graduation and reception for 90 people, and a stomach virus that hit me and five of my children, not to mention my daily life of cooking, grocery shopping, homeschooling, and doing laundry for a family of ten (not including the grown children popping in for a visit or meal). After moving from 3 workouts/week to a stepped-up schedule I immediately noticed a marked boost in energy and well-being, plus rapid additional muscle toning. In fact, it was such a noticeable difference that I plan to keep this schedule permanently.

T-Tapp has incredibly reshaped my body, especially in the torso, without spending hours a day in a gym. I love the privacy and ease of working out at home. Let's face it, this mama wouldn't have had the time, energy, or money to stick with a gym program that required arranging child care, driving to a facility, and coordinating my schedule with their hours of business. As a More to Lose person I would not have had the confidence to work out in a room filled with fitness experts. I appreciate the fact that T-Tapp meets us where we are and T-Tappers come in all shapes and sizes.

The 60-Day Challenge took me to a new level in my understanding and practice of T-Tapp. I was amazed that even after a year of T-Tapping I saw my body continue to change and I gained even more energy and strength. Of course I'd love to be a contest winner because the Safety Harbor retreat with Teresa Tapp and the T-Tapp trainers is an amazing experience, but I know that I'm a lifetime winner with the health, wellness, and appearance benefits of T-Tapp!
