*I have suffered with excruciating pain on the right side of my tailbone (for over a year) that by the end of the day I can hardly bear to sit on my bed to read! My primary care physician says the only remedy to this is a resection of my tailbone, which I would like to avoid at all costs! I also have scoliosis in my back which I think may contribute to the tailbone pain.

 

My tailbone pain is gone!!! The lump at the base of my neck is going away. It is noticeably much smaller. My husband told me he was scared when he saw how big that lump was getting on my back and it is much better now. He is thrilled and so am I.

I am a 44-year-old mom of 6. Up until recently, I was content with my size and was in excellent health. In October of 2006, I began developing some health issues including excruciating tailbone pain. At times, it was so bad I could hardly sit on my bed at the end of the day. I researched online and found I could purchase a special pillow with a cut-out for the coccyx. I bought one and carried it with me wherever I went. There were times when even that pillow didn’t help at all. My doctor said the only remedy he knew was a tailbone resection (aka surgery). After researching that further, I learned there were many muscles attached to the tailbone and thought a resection would not be the answer for me. My shoulders were beginning to droop and I had developed a bump on the base of my neck. I also had a bump forming at the base of my spine ~ so that my back was starting to look like an S. I lost an inch in height over the last 5 years.

I also was sadly noticing my arms were getting bigger and bigger and I was starting to really fill my clothes! I felt like I was going downhill physically ~ FAST. I did not like how I felt or how I looked ~ not to mention how wacky my hormones were beginning to get!

My sister, Jane, is a T-Tapp Trainer and she reminded me about T-Tapp and encouraged me that with T-Tapp, I could fix my tailbone problem ~ AND fix my shoulder/back problem if I would just take out my T-Tapp tapes and DO THEM! I confess, I had purchased my first set of (VHS) tapes in 1997 before I was pregnant with my fifth child. Jane was very encouraging and so because of her, I went to the T-Tapp website and starting reading again. I always had excuses for why I couldn’t T-Tapp before. As a stay-at-home, home schooling mom of 6, I never really had time ~ or really made time ~ for myself. I could never go to a gym or go out walking. When I saw there was now a 15-minute workout that promised results (and right in my own home! ~ no excuses!), I decided I should at least give myself the time to do this workout! When I noticed I had that bump at the base of my neck, I was concerned that I would have it for the rest of my life. Berei’s story was a great inspiration to me!

I ordered Fit and Fabulous in 15 Minutes and studied it. Then I ordered brand new DVDs of the Total Workout and decided in my heart to DO IT! I made a calendar and hung it up in a kitchen cabinet so I could record my workouts every day. This was a huge help to me.

When the DVDs came in, I started right in with the 15 minute workout. I skipped the instructionals because, hey ~ I watched those 11 years ago and figured I knew the routine enough to just go ahead. Big mistake! I worked out for about a month and thought the workout was SO EASY. When I mentioned this to Jane, she said, “you’re CHEATING!” She came over and watched me do some of the workout and corrected my mistakes one by one. OUCH! Then this year’s 60-Day Challenge was announced. I was so excited to be able to try this! Jane challenged me to do it, too! For the first time, I measured myself. I began with Basic Workout Plus every day. I was amazed at how quickly those 15 minutes went by! I felt like I was just starting the DVD when it was already time to do the Hoe Downs and I had accomplished another workout!!! YAY! Then I added Step Away the Inches for a little variety.

My sisters, Jane and Marcy, and I have T-Tapped together every Saturday morning since the challenge began. I look forward to these special times together when we can encourage each other to take care of our health. My 10-year-old daughter has done Basic Workout Plus many times alongside me. She now has the workout memorized and can do it on her own without the DVD even ON! She and my 5-year-old son are constantly reminding me to push the shopping cart the T-Tapp way, “tuck and tighten” when I walk and “no big toe.” They ride their bikes in the driveway in T-Tapp form and quote Teresa from the workouts.

Within 4 weeks of the challenge, I realized my tailbone pain was GONE! I’m not quite sure when that happened exactly. I no longer need that special pillow and I can sit pain free! My shoulders are even starting to straighten out. My posture is much improved. I have lots more energy each day. I feel GREAT! I haven’t checked my height, but I feel like I am walking taller with much better posture now. The bump on the base of my neck is disappearing!

T-Tapp has given me a new lease on life! I’m so thankful to Teresa for these wonderful workouts. I love the variety of them. I have since added Tempo Torso (my new fave!) and the new BROOM (which is super awesome) to my workout schedule! I am a T-Tapper for LIFE and I can’t wait to see how much more sculpted my body will get as I continue to improve my health and well-being! I am also very thankful to my sister Jane for her encouragement to keep going and for her positive comments and for the support of my husband. They played a big role in my sticking to this.

T-Tapp has already had such an impact on my life and others ~ many have noticed and at least 8 other people (so far) have started T-Tapping because they’ve seen the results I’ve gotten in such a short time. I’m even getting my husband into T-Tapp. Whenever he does the Basic Workout Plus with me, his shoulders and torso feel much better than usual. He notices right away. He also notices the changes in how I look since T-Tapp. He said I’m starting to look like a model ~ and that I’m fun to look at ~ he can’t take his eyes off of me. Woooohoooooo! I can’t stop talking about T-Tapp and its benefits! I would love to win this contest so I could share a special experience with my sister Jane, who has been a tremendous encouragement to change my overall well-being. I would also love to meet Teresa and experience an exciting Retreat and to meet other T-Tappers and enjoy their success stories in person!
