*Health Improvement: Sleep and Diabetes

I learned about T-Tapp in Florida at Hippocrates Health Institute where Teresa taught us a one day workshop. I was trying to do the Hoe Downs but I did not find it easy. I was surprised with how challenging one simple exercise could be. When I got home I started doing TappCore. To keep me motivated I decided to join the 60-Day Challenge. After a short time I realized how effective this exercise is. The first thing I noticed is that my posture improved. Someone even wondered if I had gotten taller. The next thing I noticed is the relief of tension in my shoulders. I hold my stress in my shoulders and they usually ache. Doing TappCore I felt a relief from the tension. The shoulder exercise in TappCore was the best to relieve the constant achiness I felt in my shoulders.

Besides doing T-Tapp I also used my exercise bike 30 minutes a day. While I was biking I practiced T-Tapp posture. I put my hands palms up on the handle bar like Teresa explains to do with the shopping cart. I roll my shoulders back, sit up straight and tuck my belly to my back. It is surprising how much my belly is being exercised with T-Tapp standing, sitting and walking. I used to think that you have to do crunches to lose the flabby belly. Without doing any crunches I have lost 7 inches on my belly. Another area I needed to tone up the loose skin was on my underarms I called them my "bat wings". On my arms I have lost 1 inch. I am going to keep doing T-Tapp and see if all my loose skin will tighten up. My total loss of inches during these 60 days is 32.75 inches! I intentionally did not change my diet. I wanted to see what T-Tapp could do without dieting.

In Florida I studied to be a health educator. For nine weeks I had been on a raw living vegan diet and I had lost 30 pounds while I was there. So losing more weight was not what I was doing T-Tapp for. I wanted to tone the loose skin that I had now and see what other health benefits I might have. We learned that exercise was an important part of a healthy lifestyle. This coming year I intend to open my own business to teach about health. Part of the reason I am doing the 60-Day Challenge is to test if T-Tapp may be the right exercise to recommend for my clients. My personal health challenge is diabetes. Many exercises cause my blood sugar to drop too fast and make it difficult for me to do the whole thing. T-Tapp is different in this way. I am able to finish the whole DVD. Because of the contest I have done T-Tapp every day for two months and I will continue to do this exercise for the rest of my life.
