Esther C. Williams Success Story

Before T-Tapp:
  • Figure skating
  • Ballet/jazz/modern dance
  • Hapkido (Korean martial arts - black belt)
  • Running
  • Swimming
  • Spinning
  • Weight Training
  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Reebok Core
  • Woof ball (it's Los Angeles… they come up w/ new workouts often and I have to try them!)
  • The Firm (video workouts)
  • Karen Voight videos
  • Step aerobics
Prior to T-Tapp, I have tried all of the above. Living in Los Angeles where fitness is a way of life, it's hard not to get caught up with the new "it" classes offered at the gym (although I refrained from going to the strip tease aerobic class). By my late 20's, I was focused on running, swimming, spinning, weight training and yoga. I was a twice-a-day gym rat. For the most part, I really loved working out. Then one day, it became a chore. I think the switch happened as my hormones changed and I realized that in order for me to keep the current weight, I had to increase my workout schedule. I was having to add more and more to my already packed program. It was either more miles of running and swimming, more reps in weight training and/or an extra day of spinning. Inevitably, I burned out and injured my knee.

My knee injury is what saved me. At the onset of my knee injury, I was in denial and would just run through the pain. Some days it got so bad that I would have to hobble home in tears after a few miles. But I would ice it and go back out the next day. See, I was one of those people who believed that in order to be fit and thin, you had to do the traditional 40-60 minutes of cardio four to six days a week, plus weight training at least three times a week. All of the fitness magazine articles I faithfully read said so.

When I found out about T-Tapp on the internet and read about it, I was very cynical because it contradicted all of my fitness beliefs. I mean, here I was, very fit (although not very lean), thinking how could you lose inches without jumping, running or weight lifting? Then I went to the "Try Before You Buy" section. My reaction to that was, "Doesn't look hard enough to do anything."

Curiosity got the best of me and I purchased the Total Workout. I was talking to one of the staff members and I told her that I needed something intermediate because the "beginner/rehab" sounded too easy. She told me not to worry, that even marathon runners got a great workout from it. So, when it arrived, I tried it. Immediately, I felt the difference in my body. I've never done anything like this before. I did Instructional #1 and #2 back to back and by the time I was done, I was sweating. By the end of month one, I was sweating more and more with the same number of reps! Go neuro-kinetics!

As my neuro-kinetic awareness became sharper, I was able to maximize the beginner/rehab workout so that it fit MY fitness level. I am still amazed how this one little workout can benefit everyone from the young to the old; from the unfit to the fittest of the fit.

T-Tapp has changed my body completely. I mentioned above that I was fit but not very lean. That was true. Running 40 miles/week didn't change my body. I was actually getting chubbier. T-Tapp is the first program to lean me out very quickly. And this quick result came without having to add more and more to the program. And, my fitness level has not waned. It is actually better than it's ever been!

My elimination system also benefited from T-Tapp. I've always had problems with it. Not to share too much in detail, but to be able to eliminate daily was unheard of for me. After about two weeks of T-Tapping, it became a daily occurrence. My husband couldn't believe it.

T-Tapp also rehabed a shoulder injury from snowboarding earlier this year. I went to my doctor and to my chiropractor to no avail. I don't think I've had any workout that could rehab AND help me lose inches at the same time.

It's been six months since I started T-Tapp. I have not added anything else to the program. Just T-Tapp and only T-Tapp. My T-Tapp schedule is all over the place. Some weeks, I'm hard core because I have the energy for it. Other weeks, I don't T-Tapp as much, but because I've reset my metabolic rate, I have not gained the inches back. I just listen to my body and workout according to what it needs.

I love T-Tapp because it's finally given me back my time to be with my husband instead of the treadmill. Also, all of my friends have been so amazed at my transformation that they've purchased the workout. For the first time in my life, I feel like I have a handle on my fitness program and not the other way around.
