M.O.M. Questions

How many children do you have and what are the ages?
We have 7 children.  Our oldest daughter married last summer and we are about to be grandparents!  So strange to be having a grandbaby and still have young children at home.

We have 4 girls at home who are 18, 15, 13 ½, and 8.  Our two boys are 12 and 10.

How did you find out about T-Tapp?
In February of 2009 I started getting serious about losing weight.  I started exercising in short bursts several times a day with one longer session early in the morning.  In April of 2009, I was blog hopping and came across a link to Charlotte Siems story.  I rarely click on those but this time I did and am I glad!

I started brushing and I incorporated some of the Try Before You Buy exercises to what I was doing at the time.  I was amazed at how great doing those exercises felt!  As my daughter’s wedding approached, much of what I was doing fell by the wayside…but not T-Tapp!!  In June, I was down 1 size, 15 pounds, and my mother-of-the-bride dress was 2 sizes smaller than I expected it to be!!

By that time I was doing T-Tapp exclusively having bought the Fit and Fab book and my DVDs (BWO+ and SATI) arrived near the end of that month.

Which are your favorite moves from T-Tapp?
OIP/HF/E (Organs in Place/Half Frogs/Elevator) is my all time favorite move with HDs being a close 2nd.  OIP has just about closed the sizable recti muscle split I had in my belly due to carrying 7 children.

Are you using Teresa's Cellulite Removal Technique?
I continue to brush at least 3 or 4 times a week.  I do love to do it.  There is a definite "smoothing" going on in my upper thighs.  Someday I hope to see the change on the skin level!

What other health benefits have you had while doing T-Tapp (less edema, less PMS, hormonal balance, reduction of knee pain, control of depression, etc)?
When I started T-Tapping, I still had issues with the left side of my neck and my back and shoulder.  My knees, especially my right one, had been causing me pain for years and were a little better from the exercising I was doing but was still causing me trouble.  I also had Plantar Fasciitis and my feet just hurt!  I’ve always dealt with depression as well.

All of those issues have been mostly resolved with T-Tapp! I can take the stairs with hardly a twinge at all in my knees!  My left shoulder is no longer “frozen”. I do need to make sure I’m being consistent.  The last several months I’ve had some hormone issues and fatigue and I had to scale way back and I feel it!  I’m taking things very slowly and am able to do MORE 3 times a week right now. VERY glad to be able to do that much!

I would also say that the depression I've dealt with for all my adult life is greatly diminished.  There are a few reasons for why that is but I know that T-Tapp has been one of the key components.

What kinds of inch loss results have you had from T-Tapp?

As of April 2010, I was at 36” lost and only 2 pounds and down 3 sizes.  I’ve been slowly gaining due to not being able to be as consistent and the hormone issues. While some of my clothes are getting a little tight, I still think my body is reshaping.  I can see that it is.  I just love how comprehensive T-Tapp
is and how it really works and reshapes the body.

What kind of advice do you have for other mothers contemplating adding T-Tapp into their lifestyle?

Just do it…  Do whatever it takes.  If you haven’t done anything today and it’s 3pm and you realize that you actually have a moment, close the door of your room and do something.  Or stand in the middle of the room and do PBS or a HD.

It’s important to have a routine and to be consistent with it.  Our children will thank us for it.  But if you’re just starting out or you’re tired and run down or you’ve fallen off the wagon, get up right now and do a HD.

Tomorrow do one before you jump in the shower and do a quick brushing. Don’t over think it.  Don’t tie yourself in knots over it.  Just take a baby step and join us over at the forums!  They are the best for support and encouragement and knowledge!

I am so thankful for Teresa and all the people in the office and those working behind the scenes to help produce a product that is so much more than a "new exercise workout".
