Michelle

October’s Mommy of the Month is Michelle (‘chelle)
from Iowa.
Michelle is a 30-year-old stay-at-home-mom of two
kids, a 10-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son.
She has a wonderful husband of ten years.
Michelle has been an off and on exerciser since she
was about 16 years old. Her weight had fluctuated so
much and that she joined Weight Watchers many times;
without ever
sticking with it to reach her goal.
In November 2000 she started exercising consistently
five to six days per week. Michelle says “I also
changed my eating by cutting down on portion sizes. I
still ate things I wanted but, I tried to eat them in
moderation.” Michelle lost 15 pounds by doing this
between November and May 23, 2001, when she joined
Weight Watchers. She lost 18 pounds since being on
Weight Watchers for a total weight loss of 33 pounds
so far. Michelle says “I still would like to lose
between 25 to 35 more pounds. I know I could have
lost more if I didn't have such a sweet tooth,” she
chuckles, “but I don't think I would have lost this
many pounds without Weight Watchers I also feel if I
wouldn't have done T-Tapp that I definitely wouldn't
have lost all of the inches I have with Weight
Watchers alone.” Michelle thinks T-Tapp and Weight
Watchers work great together.
Michelle first found out about T-Tapp on the FIRM
forum, run by people who make the famous FIRM exercise
tapes. She then traded for the T-Tapp Total Workout
set. She has been T-Tapping for about four and
one-half months. Her first bootcamp was on May 9th.
She also has done a ten day bootcamp utilizing Awesome
Legs and Diva Derriere, and has just completed her
second 14 day bootcamp using the beginner and
intermediate tapes, but mostly she confesses Maxi-Max
1 and 2.
Michelle also does a variety of other tapes such as
the FIRM’s aerobic weight training tapes and Cathe
Friedrich videos, and a few others sometimes; however,
she points out “when I do a T-Tapp bootcamp, I do
exclusively T-Tapp. When I move onto every other day,
I Tapp one day then do either the FIRM or Cathe
Friedrich videos on opposing days.” She usually takes
one day off per week. Even though Michelle is an
veteran home exerciser, she was surprised at how tough
T-Tapp was and how much she sweats during the workout.
Michelle says since she started Tapping she has
noticed that she has much more endurance and is much
more flexible. She also has lost 26.5”! Michelle
says “I've lost 2-1/2" in the bust bust, 5-1/2" in the
waist, 4-3/4" in the abdomen, 2-1/2" in the hips,
2-1/4" and 2-1/2" in each upper
thigh, and then 1/2" to 1-3/4" in the other places.”
Michelle also takes alfalfa daily and tries to brush
daily also. She did take the Fibertox for the first
month and uses the Pyruvyl-Glycine spray while
exercising, she says “I find it makes me sweat so much
more and also helps with endurance.”
