60 Day Challenge
Winner: Health Improvement Category

Connie Fox

My name is Connie Fox and I have been Tapping off and on since January of this year with my daughter Ashley who is 15 years old. We haven’t been very faithful up until the contest came along then along with two other ladies from our church we decided to try to see if we could do the long haul of two months. Sad to say, I am the only one who has finished the two months. But good for me!

I have health reasons to continue with Tapping. I have high blood pressure, Type II Diabetes, and deterioration of spinal disks, having had three operations on my cervical spine and three vertebrae fused in the neck. I currently have three pinched nerves in my lower back, but because of Tapping I have been able to avoid any kind of surgery and most of the time I can walk pain free!

I have not, however been able to get off my blood pressure medicine, but after taking medicine for high blood sugar for almost two years I am currently off Glucofage and am controlling the blood sugar with Hoe Downs! They do work!!!! I had a high reading of 150 one evening before bed and took five minutes to do a set of HD’s, then did another test - it read 86! So now after every meal I do a set of HD’s and I don’t have to worry about my blood sugar or taking medicine. (I will continue to closely monitor it and watch my diet, though).

Thank you Teresa and the T-Tapp system, thank you to the support groups on the forums, there are some very warm, caring people there. I know I have not lost the most inches in this contest, but the way I feel about myself has improved, and by eliminating some medicine I have improved my health 40%. My goal is to reduce the high blood pressure and strengthen the heart.

What have I been doing? I mostly do the Tapp to Tempo for a long and the Basic Workout Plus for a short. Six days a week I walk for 40 to 50 minutes, which equals about 2.5 – 3 miles a day. If it is raining or extremely hot or freezing cold, it is shorter. Actually I have been walking six days a week for three years now, ever since we got a beagle it has been my job to take him for his daily walk. I brush 3-4 times a week and have just introduced Hit the Floor one day a week. I sometimes just do part of the tempo starting at lunges up to the lawn mowers, which I can’t do because of my spine.
