Yes, this workout is hard... or it WAS hard for some of us... especially at the beginning! But the results have been amazing!
I'm just your average, overweight, but health-conscious, Mommy... trying to keep myself healthy and fit in my "spare time". Ha! I've been doing the Beg/Rehab Total Workout for over three years now. I love the improvements, additions, and slight changes Teresa has made over the years... and all the informative, new DVDs and added workouts (like T-Tapp MORE and Step Away the Inches)!!!
Looking back, I still can't believe that I lost two entire SIZES in just two months... and I only did Teresa's workout twice a week! It was AMAZING!!!
I went from a bloated size 14 (I'm 5'7") to a loose size 10! What a miracle! My energy soared and I told everyone I knew about T-Tapp!
When I first read about T-Tapp in an issue of Women's World magazine I felt something "click"... as if this was my solution! I'd read and tried everything imaginable over the years... but with T-Tapp, I knew that something was different... it just "felt right"! The website was (and is) so informative and friendly too!!
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE THOSE T-TAPP FORUMS ?!!!
I suggest that everyone "trying" T-Tapp for the first time, should spend an hour (or ten!) reading the success stories and testimonials... they will convince you whether or not T-Tapp will work for you! BUT... my very FIRST actual experience was that the workout seemed "impossible"! I simply GAVE UP!
I was out of shape and had terrible knee and joint pain. I couldn't do a lunge to save me! Also, I'd had a difficult diabetic pregnancy and had gained lots of weight! I could barely reach both arms behind my back to "touch", let alone do what Teresa was saying to do! Ha! Ha!
Even though I'd lost 30 pounds through dieting and walking, I had very little strength or flexibility!
With homeschooling two of my children, nursing my adorable, but demanding baby, and potty-training a very active toddler.... well, my commitment to "T-Tapp" waivered quickly. The tapes sat on a shelf for months. Still... that familiar, small voice beckoned my heart to keep trying the workout... and that "this was for me." If only I could have enough strength to get through the instructionals!!!
One morning, during my quiet time, I was reminded of an aerobics instructor who'd mentioned to our class that we should do "push-ups and lunges" on days that we didn't have time to do a full workout. Again... something clicked! I got out my T-Tapp tapes and learned again how to do a PROPER lunge with KLT. This went slowly, at first, but before I knew it I was able to do the entire lunge sequence!!!!
Push-ups and stretching had strengthened my upper body too... and suddenly I could do the whole Total Workout!
The rest is history!
I've purchased more T-Tapp videos over the years... including Tempo Intermediate and more advanced workouts, new Total Workout DVDs, Organs in Place, Hit the Floor, Step Away the Inches... and I love them all. I've also been to an awesome T-Tapp clinic, and learned to improve my form... and I still recommend this wellness workout to everyone who asks!
Blessings,
