Two years ago I had a wake up call. I looked in the mirror one morning and was shocked at what I saw. I had stretch marks across my lower abdomen. Not from pregnancy, but from constant weight gain over the previous five years. I knew I had to make changes in my life or I would continue to get bigger. In the past I had tried to lose weight through different exercise videos and going to the gym, but after a few months with no visible results I'd give up.

When I looked in the mirror two years ago I realized I had to make a lifestyle change. I began looking into different ways of exercising and eating. My sister had found T-Tapp a few months earlier and through T-Tapp I learned of God Made/Man Made eating. Everything the T-Tapp system teaches made sense to me. In August of 2002 I began to eat Man Made and exercising at the gym. I started to see some results. Then I received the T-Tapp total workout in the fall and I saw even greater results. In August I was a size 14, by January I was a size 8.

These past two months I have continued my T-Tapp experience. I wanted to achieve more results. I wanted to continue to make T-Tapp a way of life and make myself even healthier. I have loved the challenge. I only use T-Tapp now and exercise five to six times a week. I vary my workouts with T-Tapp to Tempo, Basic Plus, Hit the Floor, Tempo Arms, Tempo Torso, and Tempo Lower body. I eat God Made daily, but have also started to have a few Man Made days since I have reached my goal of a size 6. I also brush everyday and have seen a dramatic reduction in cellulite.

I found that with T-Tapp and the God Made/Man Made eating I am also receiving many health benefits. My menstrual cycle has gone from irregular and long to shorter and consistently regular. I have also cured my heartburn. Two years ago I was taking antacid daily and since I have made this lifestyle change I haven't had heartburn once. I also want to keep my body healthy to prevent heart disease. My family has a history of high cholesterol and high blood pressure. It is important to me to take preventative measures against these health problems.

I am grateful for what Teresa Tapp has given me. I have gained control over my body through healthy eating and exercise. I am also grateful for what I have learned about body types. Before T-Tapp I never understood why I had a big stomach, but now I understand my short torso body and that there are exercises to help minimize my abdomen.

Since August of 2002 I have lost 6 inches off my waist, 5.75 inches off my hips, and 7 inches off both upper thighs. In the past two months with this contest I was able to lose 11.5 total inches (while only losing 4 pounds - it just goes to show it is about inch loss, not weight loss).
