I was part-way up the stairs, changed my mind and turned around to go down. I miss-placed my left foot, it twisted and I came down ungracefully. The ankle was put in an air cast and I was sent to 8 weeks of physical therapy. Even after the 8 weeks of physical therapy, my ankle was still not right but it really didn't matter because as I was hurriedly walking down the driveway, I stepped on something round - oh yeah, the left foot - it twisted and I landed on my right hand wrist.

The sprain on the left ankle was worse than the first time. I also sprained my right wrist and my right elbow would pop when I rotated my arm and was painful. This popping could be felt, seen and heard. My foot was once again put in a removable cast but this time it covered from the toes clear up to just below the knee. I had to sleep with it on as my ankle was too painful without the brace.

I have this philosophy in regards to T-Tapping (it's helped me in worse physical situations as you are able to read in my Trainer bio): you do what you can and if a part of you can't move, you think it. I did what I could with the brace on my leg and with the very limited movement in my arm with the elbow injury. I must have done a lot of mental T-Tapping. I kept hearing Teresa saying "you do this and your ankle will get better" and I'd have a picture of myself doing the lunges from the Total Workout in my head.

As soon I could put weight on my left foot, I started T-Tapping without the cast. In no time at all (definitely less than 8 weeks) my ankle was back to where it was before the first sprain. Shortly after that, I realized that my elbow had quit popping and was not as painful. By the time I remembered to follow up on my x-ray results and physical therapy, T-Tapp had done its job. :)

I love this workout!
