Karla Gormley

This is the story of how T-Tapp helped Karla Gormley through some challenges.

When I was expecting baby #1, Phelan Meresohn, now 2 years and 5 months old, my blood pressure was on the order of 150/90 which was high enough that my pregnancy was considered high risk.  As a consequence,  I was put on high blood pressure medication, very strict diet, and bed rest to keep my blood pressure somewhat under control.  After his birth, my blood pressure returned to normal.

Two years later I was expecting baby #2, Cleo Brandi, now almost 4 weeks old as I write this.  As soon as I told my Mom (Jane Heinrichs, T-Tapp Trainer) that I was pregnant, she gave me a TappCore DVD workout.  She told me to start out with just one move and that I could choose which of the nine 3 to 5 minute routines I would do.  With a very active toddler, a busy household and knowing that I was going to be put on a strict diet, bed rest and meds again, I was intrigued.  I decided that I could find 3 minutes in my busy day.

Phelan became my ‘coach’.  “Mommy, T-Tapp, T-Tapp” he told me every morning holding my hand and pulling me towards the DVD player.  As my pregnancy progressed, my blood pressure stayed in a more normal range of 137/78.  I started getting lax on my ‘strict’ diet.  At about my 6th month my Mom also started me on Kangen Water.  By my 3rd trimester, my blood pressure remained normal (130/60 at times).  I ate everything including pleasure foods and took NO MEDS and lost 4 lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight!

Then during my eighth month I went and visited my Mom for 10 days.  We goofed off and did not do any T-Tapp.  When I got back home, I had to take my husband to the emergency room because he had such pain in his foot that he could not stand.  I now had a 2 year old in tow and a very pregnant belly and took my husband to the hospital on the way to my scheduled check up.

Not a good doctor’s visit for me.  Not only was my blood pressure very high, my liver count was also above normal.  Another blood test the next day and my liver count had gone up a little bit more and my blood pressure was still high.  The doctor talked about the negative consequence of high blood pressure and high liver count and followed that with some talk about possible inducement.  I asked him to give me a few days (a week-end?).  After a very stressful week where I was at the hospital (toddler in tow!) seven times in five days, and the prior week of traveling, I told my doctor what I needed most was to STAY HOME and get back on track with my T-Tapp.

I chug-a-lugged the Kangen water and did the Hoe Downs and Spine movements on the TappCore DVD.  They are the only movements I did throughout this pregnancy.

Monday morning checkup – my liver count was normal, high normal but normal none-the-less and so was my blood pressure.  That’s with just Hoe Downs and the Spine movements and Kangen Water.

Cleo Brandi was born July 23, 2008 at 10:28 pm and weighed 8lbs13oz and I was down 17 lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight!!!

NO MEDS, NO STRICT DIET, NO BED REST!  Just 2 TappCore moves, Kangen Water, and all the food I wanted.
