Dear Teresa,
I wanted to share with you all of the wonderful benefits that I've derived from doing regular T-Tapp workouts over the past six years. As you know, I first ordered the Full Workout in August 2001 to help alleviate pain and weakness in my neck and back that was a result of injuries I'd incurred after being rear-ended. At that point, I thought I'd tried everything (physical therapy, chiropractics, yoga, etc.) without success, but I had read about T-Tapp in Woman's World magazine and had been interested enough to check out the Web site. I not only did the "Try Before You Buy" exercises, I also did some of the back exercises. Because of how much better I felt just from doing those few exercises, I ordered the Full Workout-that marked the beginning of my six-year journey to better health.
Let me regress... I've worked out and jogged regularly since I was a teenager, but it wasn't always easy. I was born with a severe muscle imbalance that required that I be casted from the waist down followed by "descending" casts on my legs (the casts became shorter and shorter until I was finally fitted with metal braces on my feet that were attached to a bar). The reason for the lengthy casting process was that my muscles had pulled at my bones in utero, and I was born with twisted bones from my pelvis to my feet. Throughout my childhood, I was plagued with bone and muscle pain and ended up visiting physical therapists and chiropractors throughout my adulthood to help correct the muscle imbalance and scoliosis caused by the muscles pulling incorrectly at my spine. Thanks to T-Tapp, I was able to stop all physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments within a year. Also, two years ago when my spine was x-rayed, I discovered that my lifelong scoliosis had seemingly disappeared! I owe this miracle to T-Tapp's spinal alignment that I've practiced diligently since 2001. I used to feel twisted when I was in proper T-Tapp stance, but now I feel balanced and aligned.
T-Tapp has also helped me overcome a number of health challenges during the past few years. Namely, I discovered in 2004 at the age of 47 that I had been born with celiac disease, which probably triggered the muscle and bone problems I was born with since it causes mal-absorption of nutrients. I had become so ill and weak, especially from iron anemia, I could hardly T-Tapp. Thankfully, though, once my illness was discovered, I regained my health through following a gluten-free diet and regular T-Tapp workouts. However, my good health was short lived due to a diagnosis of breast cancer in late 2006. After a bilateral mastectomy, reconstructive surgeries, and four months of chemo, you would think that my health would have suffered terribly. However, this was not the case. I had managed to T-Tapp between my surgeries and in between chemo treatments, and afterwards I visited a doctor who specializes in an integrative approach to cancer. He performed a Bio-Energy test on me, which helped determine my "true biological age." Although I'm 50 years old, he determined that my true biological age is 30! In fact, the machine was only calibrated to go as low as 30, but he stated that the numbers I achieved during the fitness challenge indicated that my true age is probably closer to that of a teenager. He seemed amazed... but I knew who to thank for that good news: Teresa Tapp. I owe my return to good health to your innovative exercise routine, its trainers, and my many supportive friends on the Forum. Not only do I feel younger than 50, I am filled with hope that the cancer won't return and that I will remain strong and healthy for years to come. These photos were taken three months after my last chemo treatment, and, yes, I'm wearing a wig, but don't I look happy? Thank you, Teresa. I've said it before, but it bears saying again-I'm a Tapper for Life!
