I am a 35 year old mother of four...ages 4 - 14. I go to school full-time with a double major in Paralegal and Criminal Justice.
I first heard of T-Tapp in the August 2001 issue of Woman's World. I was about 3 months pregnant with my fourth child, his father had had a massive heart attack on July 18 and passed away and I wasn't at a place in my life where I could even think about starting an exercise program. However, it did stick in my head and I started doing research on T-Tapp.com. Then, when another article was published in Woman's World in January 2004, I became even more interested in T-Tapp, but still not enough to do anything more about it other than reading the forum on the website, etc.
I have severe asthma and in April of 2005, I had to go to the hospital almost weekly with asthma attacks. On April 26, 2005, I began a weight loss program and lost about 40 pounds by the time I got married on October 28. I wore a fitted size 16 dress for my wedding. I hit a plateau and only lost about 10 more pounds by the time April 26 rolled around again. I was hoping to be at my goal by then...which at that time I thought was fitting comfortably in a size 10 or 12.
Again, I turned to the website to find out that Teresa had written a book which should be out in stores at any time. I bought the book around the first of May, 2006. I started doing the Primary Back Stretch, although very poorly which I realized later and the CD out of the back of the book. By the first week in June, I was able to buy my first pair of size 8's. By the end of June, I was able to fit comfortably in size 6 capris. That is something that I never even dared to imagine I might do. As a young teenager, when I went from children's clothes to ladies clothes, I wore an 8. I have never in my life worn 6 and now I am in a comfortable 6 or a snug 4.
I am so thankful that I found T-Tapp and that it has helped me so much. I haven't been to the hospital for my asthma in ages. I am now working on becoming a trainer. I want others to have the opportunity that I have had with T-Tapp.
I'm teaching my children to walk with their toes pointing straight ahead. My four-year-old son loves to say, "shoulder roll, repeat." My fourteen-year-old walks around saying, "YES, you can!" We have fun with it, but I think it is a wonderful tool to teach children at a young age.
Thank You Teresa!
