60 Day Challenge
Winner: Normal Losers Category

Pam Bennett

Hi, I’m Pam Bennett, I’m 49 years young, and I’d like to tell you about my participation in the 2004 T-Tapp contest. I read on the Forum that Teresa was sponsoring a contest and that winners in each category would have a chance to go to Safety Harbor for free, and that each winner would get all kinds of perks once in Safety Harbor. That wasn’t enough to motivate me to enter. Then Teresa offered another perk—three free T-Tapp products to all contestants along with free shipping. I couldn’t wait to sign up!

I entered the contest thinking that being a contestant would help me focus on my T-Tapp workouts. I started Tapping in August of 2003. Although I was initially enthusiastic, I started falling off the T-Tapp wagon after the holidays. I can now say with assurance that when I do T-Tapp, I get better results than when I do other kinds of workouts.

During the contest I did a variety of T-Tapp workouts including MORE, SATI, Instructionals 1 and 2, BW+, Weighted Shoe Workout, Sit Down T-Tapp, Tempo Arms, and a Beg/Rehab boot camp. I did PBS and skin brushing as a minimum every day, even when I didn’t do a complete workout. I can’t leave the house without brushing every morning now!

I did Beg/Rehab seven days in a row, which I started while on vacation. I knew that Teresa had designed this workout for models in hotel rooms but until I did it myself using my mini DVD player in my hotel room I had no idea how portable it really was. I have been working out for many years and vacations have always been a challenge for me because I don’t want to get off the exercise wagon while I travel. I really love traveling with T-Tapp.

But even better than being able to do the workout when traveling are the results I’m getting. During the contest I lost eight-and-a-half inches. That might not sound like much but I’m a short torso person and 2.5 of those inches were right in my waist! I’m delighted with my results and determined to continue Tapping until I get to the size I want to be…and with T-Tapp I know it’s possible. Even if I don’t get there on the schedule I’d like (the hare schedule), and get there on the schedule my body likes (the tortoise schedule)—I will get to where I want to be.

Another great thing about Tapping is how you can incorporate it into your life by doing shoulder rolls or Hoe Downs at work, or making sure you walk ‘shoulders back, chest out, knee little toe.’ I even find myself trying to stand KLT when I’m doing dishes!

The contest was a good reminder for me to make T-Tapp the core of my workout. I also did some cardio at the gym during the contest, doing low impact aerobics, and also doing a Tae-Bo type of workout called Kwando.

Although I’d love to win the contest, isn’t the most important thing. I already consider myself (and all the other contestants) winners for participating. I’m glad I did decide to enter the contest because it reaffirmed to me the value of the T-Tapp system. It’s not just a workout; it’s a way of life.
